Amar Hostel and Suites Ericeira is a stylish and well decorated place. The location is as central as it gets and on top of that the hostel has a big garden. The whole place is bright and airy. The old architecture is mixed up with plenty of modern touches, looking more like a hotel than a hostel.
There are many tranquil places to relax around the property. And the garden offers various seating options, as well as hammocks and a slackline. A big bonus is the roof terrace where you can sit and have a good view over Ericeira and the ocean.

Amar hostel Ericeira also features an on-site bar with a nice beer selection. Make sure you try one of the beers micro-brewed in the region. The facilities for cleaning wetsuits and storing surfboards are particularly nice. They even have an outdoor shower for washing of the saltwater. The staff is welcoming and service-minded and there is plenty of parking space nearby.

The kids can run around in the big garden while you enjoy the shade under a tree. The Amar Hostel is also great if you want to stay in central Ericeira. It’s close to beaches and restaurants, and at the same time you have a nice garden for evening chill.
