No worries, Laneez could choose to cater to the wealthy and glamorous, instead they decided to open their guesthouse to everyone who can afford a spot in a dormitory. There is also a handful of private rooms, with or without private bathroom, if you prefer having your own room.
Since it’s such an amazing deal, its often fully booked. Make sure you plan your stay well in advance.
Ocean view and charm
If you do manage to snap up one of the spots you are in for a treat. You can’t ask for a better location, the beach is right under the terrace. Ericeira is a short walk away. The sun-soaked terrace is perfect for reading the latest best seller while listening to the waves crashing against the beach. Inhale the ocean breeze and some of life’s hardship will evaporate.
The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, just buy some tuna steaks at the local market.
The rooms are bright and spacious, the decoration will most likely inspire you to bring back all sorts of beach house decor to your own apartment. In the wintertime there is a fireplace to keep you warm and cozy while you sip on your port wine and watch the sun set in the blue Atlantic.
Potential Flaws of Laneez Ericeira
Honestly, I can’t think of much, Laneez is fully booked most of the times, the price is nice, and the reviews are extremely good. 9.6 at booking.com. They do have a 3-night minimum stay, so if you are just staying for a couple of nights Laneez is not for you. It’s also probably not the right place for the experienced low budget surfer or for the dedicated party goer. Everyone else will most likely love their stay.
Who Is Laneez Ericeira for?
Anyone who want to come to Ericeira and spend a lot of time looking at the ocean. Laneez has a friendly vibe and in the summertime there is a weekly barbeque.
The surf lesson supplied by Laneez Ericeira comes particularly recommended. Small groups and great teachers who like to share their passion will have you standing in no time.
